Daring break-in in Colorado bakery – 24 cherry and 14 apple pies vanish

It was a daring break-in at night in a Colorado bakery and the owner lost a total of 38 pies comprising 24 cherry and 14 apple pies. However, the thief did not touch the strawberry-and-rhubarb pies but carried away two for the road.
This has been reported in news.sky.com dated 16 July 2015.
The thief was a bear and it broke into the Colorado Cherry Company.
He was a cool customer and had the stealth of a seasoned burglar because he had gained entry by finding his way into the building at a point not covered by surveillance cameras and used the window on the way out. He stole two pies and left the boxes outside.
There were paw prints, bite marks and a trail of sugar as evidence of his nocturnal visit. Neighbors had seen a black bear around the property, but no one can say for certain whether he is the one responsible for the raid.
