ISIS sets fire to crates of Halal chicken in Aleppo because they were from the United States

#aleppo #ISIS #syria It was another example of depravation when ISIS militants have deliberately set fire to hundreds of crates of Halal chicken produced in the United States even though there are hundreds of thousands of hungry mouths who are facing starvation in war-torn Syria.
This has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 2 April 2015.
They released photos showing the crates of chicken being set alight in a field near the city of Aleppo – incidentally, the meat being was slaughtered according to Islamic law and was perfectly fit for consumption.
AS per the apparent label on the crates, the meat had been produced by an Illinois-based company and inspected by the U.S. food standard agency.
The two vehicles carrying the food were stopped by ISIS' religious police force - known as Al-Hesbah - at a checkpoint in Aleppo province because they had deemed the cargo to be unlawful.
