IPL 8 to kick off in Kolkata on 7 April with a 2-hour program


#IPL8 #KKR #AnuragThakur #HrithikRoshan #AnushkaSharma The Indian cricket team is back after the 2015 Cricket World Cup and, having their worries behind them, have now got ready to participate in the IPL8 extravaganza. It is all about money and fame the Indian team members have now got themselves reattached with their IPL teams.
The inauguration would be held in Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on 7 April with a 2-hour glittering program where Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor are expected to play important roles.

Other celebrities on show would be Farhan Akhtar, music director Pritam along with Hrithik and Anushka Sharma will set the ball rolling for the cash-rich T20 league. Moreover, all eight team captains will be present to take the MCC Spirit of Cricket pledge. They would reaffirm the values in IPL's commitment to the Spirit of Cricket, which has been on display since the competition's inception in 2008.
This has been conveyed by BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur.
Gautam Gambhir who is the captain of defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will put the trophy back in play and thus signal the start of the season.
