68-year-old thief used wrappers of KitKat chocolates steal £20,000 in cash

No doubt it was an innovative idea to steal out cash using empty wrappers of KitKat chocolates but the 68-year-old thief got caught. This has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 20 March 2015.
His modus operandi was simple - he would eat the chocolate ad stuff the empty wrapper with wads of £50 notes that he stole from his employers Vaultex Ltd in Tonbridge, Kent. His activities were caught on CCTV after his employers at the cash handling depot became suspicious. On investigation they came across 97 incidents over 50 days of Mills who used to hide the money and subsequently conceal the wrappers on his body.
When searched, the staff found five £50 notes round a KitKat wrapper and they handed over the case to the Kent Police who found more cash in the car of the errant employee. Moreover, a search of his locker revealed a stash of empty KitKat wrappers inside.
He had been working with Vaultex Ltd since 2008 and was given a 21 month prison sentence for the £20,000 that he stole.
