Some unknown facts about tea and the cup that cheers

A cup of tea in the morning is better known as the ‘cup that cheers’ and sets the tone for the day. It is an intentionally acclaimed brew and the British have set high standards when it comes to that cup of tea. Research has revealed that the nation's number one pet hate for that morning cuppa is when it is served with too much milk.
This has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 15 June 2015.
In a survey, nearly 64 per cent said that too much milk in the tea was their biggest tea turn-off. There we other dislikes also – for example, the mug was not rinsed out properly (63 per cent) and receiving the tea in a chipped cup (46 per cent).
Some other interesting revelations about the top three pet hates about tea were the brew being served with the teabag still in. Then there were instances of the drink spilled on to the saucer.
The survey was carried out on 2,000 people and was conducted by the Armed Forces charity SSAFA. It is organizing a Big Brew Up campaign to encourage Britons to hold tea parties to raise money for veterans.
Incidentally, over 60 billion cups of tea are drunk each year in Britain and the British have set high standards when it comes to their perfect cuppa. In fact, irrespective of gender or age, the vast majority of them want to sit down with a nice strong cup of tea and possibly a biscuit.
