At a trial run, two members of the club netted over 15kg of rohu and participants can look forward to a weighty yield. At least 70 participants are expected from Calcutta, Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar, Ghatshila, Ranchi and Jamshedpur and entry fee will be Rs 1,200 each.
Accommodation will be arranged for those arriving from outstation. They will be accommodated inside a hall at Jusco's nursery near Tata Steel Zoological Park and tents, food and refreshment will be arranged for the participants. They will be provided with umbrellas and caps, and there will be awards. As a safety measure, use of chemicals in the baits will not be allowed.
