New way to fight wrinkles – go in for guilt free chocolate

#wrinkles #antiaging #chocolate #antioxidant If you are in your 50s or 60s and are worried about those wrinkles, say bye-bye to antiaging creams and switch over to chocolates. A special type of chocolate called guilt free chocolate. It will make your skin look like that of 20 and 30 year olds as reported in nzherald.co.nz dated 20 February 2015.
This chocolate can help you to combat wrinkles and also do away with sagging skin problems.
Known as Esthechoc it is the brainchild of a Cambridge University-linked laboratory which lays claim to boost antioxidant levels and increase circulation which, in turn, will prevent lines and keep skin looking youthful and smooth.
It seems a small 7.5g bar of the chocolate contains the same amount of the antioxidant astaxanthin as a fillet of Alaskan salmon, and is more or less than the levels of free radical-fighting cocoa polyphenols as 100g of dark chocolate.
The claim is that it can change the underlying skin of a 50 to 60-year-old into that of someone in their 20s or 30s and, this has been established by conducting tests on 400 volunteers. The results were exciting - after four weeks of eating the chocolate every day they had less evidence of inflammation in their blood and increased blood supply to skin tissue. As explained by Dr Ivan Petyaev, a former Cambridge University researcher, and the founder of biotech firm Lycotec which is behind the product – use is made of the same antioxidant that keeps goldfish gold and flamingos pink.
Clinical trials have shown that inflammation in the skin starts to reduce and the tissues began to benefit through guilt free chocolate.
Reports indicate that the confectionery, also known as Cambridge Beauty Chocolate, will be available in boxes as a three-week supply, individually wrapped, and can be had in high-end retailers from next month – probably with a hefty price tag.
