#aeroindia2015 #flyingbulls #bengaluru #radkamachova It was a narrow escape for two planes of the Flying Bulls team of Czech Republic when the wing of one scraped the wing of the other as they were over the runway. The team has come to Bengaluru to take part in the Aero India 2015 show as reported in thehindu.com dated 19 February 2015. The Aero India 2015 is being held at the Air Force station in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, and the two fliers of the four-member team of the acrobatic fliers, Flying Bulls, escaped unhurt.
It seems the aerobatics team was carrying out one of its performances when the accident took place and the wing of one of the planes hit the wing of the other. The plane that was hit was damaged almost up to the cockpit but, both succeeded to land safely.
66-year-old Radka Machova, lead pilot of Flying Bulls, was the pilot of the plane that was hit and, as a result of this accident, the air show was stopped to clear the runway from any objects that might have fallen. The show resumed once clearance was given after a half an hour.
In view of this accident, the team will perform for the rest of the Aero India show even though they were supposed to perform till February 22.
