Hillary Clinton and Mitt Romney are probables for 2016 US President Elections

#hillaryclinton #mittromney It is gradually becoming clear that former Massachusetts Gov. and 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney is most probable candidate for the GOP presidential nomination for 2016 US President elections, and his competitors would probably be former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who is far ahead among Democrats.
This has been revealed in the latest poll carried out by Fox News.
As far as the Republicans go, Mitt Romney dominates the field for the 2016 Republican nomination with 19 percent votes among self-identified Republicans. Next is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 10 percent. No other probable Republican candidates have managed to get backing in double-digit.
All others like New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and former Penn. Sen. Rick Santorum have al received less than 10 per cent.
In the Democratic camp, Hillary Clinton is still 50 points ahead of her nearest rival – her support is down marginally from 64 per cent to 62 per cent from July figures – in April it was at a high of 69 per cent.
As an observer remarks – in spite of a book, a world tour, numerous controversies and several distinctly different possible opponents, the support of Hillary Clinton has not changed much over the past two years. It also does not depend much on who the Republican is.

81 % Americans feel ISIS could attack the US – when captured they should be sent to Gitmo

A poll carried by a media house has revealed that a majority of American voters expect the ISIS to attack the US and want the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba to be the place where the captured terrorists should be sent instead of to a federal prison.
President Obama is keen to close Gitmo in order to fulfill a 2008 campaign promise, but 56 percent of voters want to keep it open. Although that is an increase from 52 percent in June, it is actually a decrease from a record 63 percent in 2013.
Party wise, the Democrats want Gitmo closed by a 12-point margin – in 2013 they favored to keep it open by 7 points. On the other hand, seven in 10 Republicans still want it open (71 percent), as do two-thirds of independents (66 percent).
A large 81-percent majority of Americans expect the Islamic extremist group ISIS to attempt a U.S. attack in the near future, including 48 percent who think it is “very” likely.
As to the priorities of President Obama, the poll put ISIS second only to the economy on the president’s list of priorities. The breakdown is - 38 percent say working on the economy should be Obama’s first priority followed by 21 percent who say ISIS. Another 12 percent say health care, 10 percent immigration and 9 percent race relations.
The poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 1,043 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from December 7-9, 2014. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.
