3rd International Dwarf Fashion Show held in Japan

The International Dwarf Fashion Show being held in Japan is a new type of show where glamorous women of short stature have broken down the stereotype of tall, leggy models with an empowering parade. The show is now in its third year, having graced Paris and New York fashion weeks over the past two years with roaring success.
This has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 27 October 2016.
There were models of restricted growth dressed in American Wardrob outfits as they strutted their stuff down the catwalk in Ebisu, Tokyo. The objective of the Japanese Fashion Week show is to empower women by challenging the conventions of beauty and bringing to light the fact that models come in all shapes and sizes.
To participate in this show, models had to be under 1.30 metres in height and entrants from around the world get complimentary travel and hotel expenses to walk in the show. The point to note is that dwarfism is a state of the body that one has to accept.

Pro-Russian female soldiers on the catwalk to celebrate International Women’s Day

#InternationalWomensDay #Donetsk #catwalk #femalesoldiers #happywomensday International Women's Day is on March 8 and, to celebrate the occasion, a whole lot of pro-Russian female soldiers have taken off their uniforms and donned civil dress to participate in a beauty parade to mark International Women's Day. This has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 7 March 2015.
These women hail from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, and have discarded their battle dresses for floor-length dresses while hundreds of spectators gathered to admire their natural beauty as the women did the catwalk.
Obviously, the models loved the occasion and were overjoyed – they were given flowers after the event.
Incidentally, the first International Women's Day was held in 1911 and thousands of events occur across the world regularly to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women and their growing clout. Women are no longer weak and timid but have proved their worth in practically every male dominated field.
Let us wish them and all other women of the world a Happy Women’s Day.
