She meticulously cleans her double-barrel gun as she sits on a charpoy. She recollects the 1990s when the women had to move from pillar to post to get a complaint registered against their assaulters. Many young girls committing suicide because they got no support from anyone. She had lost her husband and decided to fight for herself - hence, her need for a firearm.
She got the license due to former CM Mayawati-ji. Due to her presence, girls and women roam around even during late evening hours.
