This has been reported in timesofindia.indiatimes.com dated 26 November 2015.
The woman had retired as a senior officer with the education department. She stayed with her son in Mehrauli ever since her husband's death.
She had boarded the Route 620 bus at its origin, Shivaji Stadium, around 3.30pm and, on the way, a youth, seemingly in his early 20s, sat in the seat beside her.
The youth was holding a handkerchief in his hand and she began to feel drowsy soon after he sat near her.
After some time, he called her 'ma ji' and offered prasad which she accepted, ate and became unconscious. The youth had already disappeared with the woman's rings, bangles and the chain she was wearing.
All she can recollect is that there was a cross hanging from a chain around the boy's neck and there were burn marks under his ears.
No one realized that she was unconscious until the bus reached a stop near Khan Market.
She had to spend two days in the AIIMS ICU and was discharged after giving the police her statement.
