Tour operators offering adventure trips of £5,000 each to Afghanistan

#adventuretrips #Afghanistasn #tourism Afghanistan could see a boom in tourism because tour operators are offering adventure trips to the country for £5,000 each person. Admitted that Afghanistan is a war-torn country and has barely been out of the headlines for decades, but this country is gradually becoming an alternative tourist destinations. In spite of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advising people against all travel for all but essential travel to Afghanistan, there are some adventure tour operators who are offering trips to curious travelers.
One of these named Wild Frontiers - it has seen a rise in bookings for group tours to Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraqi Kurdistan to the tune of being double in the past year even though the turmoil and political problems are continuing in the troubled nations.
A second such adventure travel company called Hinterland Travel has revealed that 2014 was its busiest year yet for bookings to Afghanistan. The extreme trips cost around £4,950 each for two weeks, excluding flights.
A third company Responsible Travel offers tours that take in the historic city and capital Kabul, Buddhist sites, mountain villages, lakes and ancient forts.
The colorful mosques are among the historic buildings that can be seen in cities and towns across the country. It is going through tremendous change but, as far as the vast majority of Afghans are concerned, daily life continues in much the same vein as it has for centuries and tourists would get plenty of opportunities to see life from close quarters like farming and pottery-making to silk-weaving and daily prayer.
Of course, there is always warning - anyone traveling to Afghanistan must understand that in places tourist infrastructure is almost non-existent and be prepared.
