US will now be the eighth nation to partner the summit along with Japan, Canada, UK, Holland, Australia, Singapore and South Africa. The US participation has been confirmed by the US ambassador to India in the meeting held with the Gujarat CM on August 20 in Gandhinagar.
Obviously, the United States is showing plenty of interest in partnering India in its resurgence, thanks to the visions of Prime Minister.
Incidentally, in 2013, the Vibrant Gujarat had only two countries attending – the situation has, needless to mention, changed dramatically in a very short time and the interest shown by the United States could directly be attributed to the visit of Narendra Modi to that country and his interaction with Americans in Madison Square.
Vibrant Gujarat 2013 was held between 11-13th January 2013 and was an event that was not just transformational but also revolutionary since it provided a platform for various states of India and other countries to cooperate and explore attractive business.
As Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister of Gujarat had indicated – the state of Gujarat has emerged as a meaningful global platform for consensus, harmony and cooperation for all-inclusive growth and that the government is committed to ‘Gujarat’s Growth for the Growth of India.’
