Popular online portals are flooded with images of goats on sale. These are mostly the 'Jamunapari' and 'Dumba' varieties are in demand. This trend of online business is quite new to the country and breeders from small cities and towns also joining the bandwagon.
One of them is offering a combo scheme - five goats at a discounted price of Rs 1 lakh if someone buys all of them. And, as a customer remarked - going to the market to find a good goat is a time consuming affair and with hectic lives, it is easier to search online and have the animal delivered at the doorstep.
