This has been reported in zeenews.india.com dated 11 August 2015.
It later transpired that it was an attempt to draw the attention of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike and force them to take a swift action over the quality of roads. The anaconda was, fortunately, not a live one but a model and it had been positioned in a pothole in Yeshwanthpur area here.
The idea goes to Namma Bengaluru Foundation (NBF) which is a group that is working for the betterment of the city. Bengaluru is supposed to be India's IT capital, and the potholes on its roads gets worse with the monsoon showers and the lives of commuters are put at risk.
Incidentally, there was an instance earlier when a visual artist had put a huge life-size crocodile in a 12-feet long pothole in a road in north Bengaluru.
