6000 to 8000 Nepali girls trafficked to Dubai from New Delhi IGI airport

#NepaliGirls #Dubai #IGIAirport A racket of organized trafficking of Nepali girls to Dubai through New Delhi airport has been unearthed by the CBI – it could be just the tip of the iceberg because rough estimates indicate a figure of between 6000 to 8000 girls aged between 20 and 30 who have become victims till December 2014.
It was a multi-agency international operation and was spearheaded by Central Bureau of Investigation – the girls were sent to Dubai for alleged prostitution and the transit point was Delhi's IGI airport for their travelling to the gulf country.
The agency has informed the ministry of external affairs, ministry of home affairs, bureau of immigration and Nepal authorities through Interpol about the organized syndicate, which sends the girls on tourist visas.
The sources said during the inquiry which was being covertly conducted by the agency, probe officers collected information from Foreign Regional Registration Office, Air India, Qatar Airways, Bureau of Immigration and 15 travel agents based in Delhi.

Travel agents announce half-price holidays in 2015 to sunshine destinations

In view of the fall in prices of oil and global upturn, travel agents are offering half-price summer holidays in 2015 to sunshine destinations. Already, some airfares for next year have been slashed by up to half – and, in the opinion of experts, the discounts could even cover the Easter and summer holidays. That would be welcomed by parents.
Apart from the drop in oil prices, other factors responsible for this are the decision of the Government to scrap air passenger duty for children plus the present strength of the pound – the combined effect of these would translate into less costly air travel. This advantage would be passed on to the traveler.
Normally, people start booking their holidays for 2015 as early as Boxing Day and, right now, there are bargains available. These include huge savings on winter breaks to Florida, Mexico and Greece, and Easter flights to Spain to be reduced to almost half price compared to this year's prices.
The cost of flights to Prague, Barcelona, Morocco, Portugal and Prague would come to £50.
In the opinion of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), lower oil prices and stronger worldwide financial growth are the main reasons for the savings.
As per estimates of the Association for British Travel Agents, four million people will fly abroad this Christmas and New Year. One of its spokesman has provided statistics - from Heathrow there would be 1.7 million people leaving, 800,000 will fly from Gatwick, 430,000 from Stansted and around 380,000 will leave from Manchester, 160,000 from Birmingham, 100,000 from Bristol, and 50,000 from Leeds Bradford International.
