Blocked toilet of Boeing 777-200 forced diversion of PIA Toronto-Lahore flight to Manchester

A Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 777-200 plane from Toronto to Lahore was delayed for five hours because of blocked toilets - the flight was forced to divert to Manchester airport to clear the choke up that had happened because someone had thrown some solid stuff into one of the toilets. Thereby all of them were out of action since the outlets are interconnected to a common drain line.
This has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 20 November 2016.
The flight was from Toronto to Lahore and it no choice but to stop off in Manchester to clear the choke up and then priced to its destination. The Boeing 777-200 had left Toronto and was headed for Lahore in Pakistan when the problem was discovered mid-air over the North Sea - this is about 200 miles from Manchester. Hence, it was diverted to Manchester.
The plane took another hour to reach Manchester and then was on the ground for another three hours for carrying out necessary work before it could take off again. The passengers finally reached Lahore with a delay of five hours.
