Emirates Boeing 777-300 crash lands at Dubai Airport - all 300 pasengers safe


An Emirates Boeing 777-300 with 300 people on board crash-landed at Dubai International Airport and burst into flames on the runway. No fatalities have been reported and all those on board were evacuated safely before the the jet was engulfed in a fireball.

The Emirates flight EK521 was carrying 282 passengers and 18 crew. Among the passers were twenty-four Britons and four Irish - they were flying from Kerala, India. It seems the pilot had told the passengers that there was a problem with the landing gear and that he would be making an emergency landing.
India's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates has said that many of the passengers were in shock while Boeing Airplanes has said that their team is monitoring the situation in Dubai and gathering more information.
