Garden city Bengaluru comes up with a new design of a park

Garden city Bengaluru has come up with an innovative new design for a park. It is one where visitors can sit on a slice of watermelon in the middle of the park. That is happening in the Ranadheera Kantirava Park in Jayanagar, near South End Circle.
This has been reported in timesofindia.indiatimes.com dated 1 June 2016.
The park is designed such that its benches look like cut pieces of apples and watermelons. At the entrance to the park is the massive face of a clown and other figurines are installed in different parts of the park. The dedicated team had worked for almost 18 months and the result is one of the most attractive parks in the city. It is expected to be a favorite with kids because of the many artifacts around. The water fountains and colorful fruits dotting the area makes it more unique.
Moreover, the newly laid footpath adjacent to the park also has a new look - it goes from South End Circle to Abhaya Ganapathi temple and, unlike the normal sight of broken footpaths, this 370-metre pavement has designer tiles and a green patch all along its center. It has been built at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore and is being touted as one of the best in the city.
