Prime Minister Narendra Modi off to Malaysia and Singapore


Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take off for a visit to Malaysia and Singapore from November 21, 2015 to November 24, 2015 - the aim of his visit would be to strengthen economic ties and the security cooperation with these nations.

He has himself outlined his plans through FB posts - his visits are aimed at building stronger economic ties with these nations and also to strengthen the security cooperation between us.
It would be a four-day visit. In Malaysia, he would attend the ASEAN-India Summit and the 10th East Asia Summit. Among his engagements would be to hold talks with Prime Minister Najib Razak and other world leaders who are attending the Summits. Malaysia is a strategic partner of India and is at the core of India's 'Act East Policy.'
Prime Minister Modi would also join the program for the inauguration of Torana Gate and also interact with Corporate Malaysia apart from visits to the Ramakrishna Mission, inauguration of a statue of Swami Vivekananda and a visit to the Batu Caves Temple.
In Singapore, he would interact with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on ways to enhance India-Singapore ties on the occasion of commemoration of 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
