Three out of the seven new of the new cases were in Samsung Medical Centre in Seoul which is one of the largest hospitals in South Korea where over 70 people have contracted the virus. One of the affected was a paramedic who had assisted in transporting a MERS patient to Samsung hospital on June 7.
The authorities also informed that the ambulance driver who was involved in the transportation the patient who died three days later had also been infected.
Among the other new patients one was from the central city of Daejeon and another in the city of Hwaseong, located about 43-Km south of Seoul.
