Lingerie thief in China hid over 2000 pieces of stolen lingerie

#lingerie It takes all sorts to make a world. This is proved by the activities of a 30-year-old man who had a fetish for lingerie. He has been arrested in China on charges of stealing around 2000 lingerie from his neighbors. This came to light due to a ceiling collapse. He used to hide the stolen booties in the ceiling and, the ceiling collapsed due to the weight of the women’s undergarments.
The thief is known as Tan – he had stashed the underwear in a secret hiding place in the suspended ceiling of his flat in Yulin, of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southeast China. It seems when he ran out of space, he used the ceiling cavities in the communal fire escape stairwells for storing his loot of bras and knickers.
He appears to be a psychological case because he at least one in every color imaginable – he would creep into the house of his neighbors while they were out or at work. He had a master key that he had in his possession but it is not known how he got hold of the key.
He claims that his treasure is the result of a life-long fixation with women's lingerie that he has been nurturing since he was a kid.
Underwear burglar are not new in China – a 22-year-old man had earlier been caught in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province. He had stolen 17 pairs of women's knickers in 24 hours. In the same month, another man was held in Hubei province for stealing and wearing women's undergarments.
And, in 2012, a 48-year-old man in Bangkok, Thailand, admitted to stealing more than 5000 pairs of knickers when his home was searched in connection to a US$325,000 jewelry robbery. He said he began stealing them at the age of 18.
