Box Cricket League is latest avatar of cricket - a TV reality show

#200celebsinbcl Trust the TV stalwarts like Ekta Kapoor to think up a new reality show, that too on cricket. The game of cricket has undergone immense transformation ever since W G Grace played and the five-day-game with a red ball has gradually been condensed into one of four-hour duration with a white ball via the route of ODIs.
It is now ready to launch a new avatar by the name of #Box-Cricket-League or BCL on Sony at the 7pm slot. BCL is an Ekta Kapoor production and started on December 14 and can be seen every Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television.
Regular players would not be seen in action in BCL and TV personalities will replace the known faces of cricket. This would become India's first sports reality show, and it promises to trump all other TV reality shows with over 200 of television's biggest actors and actresses who will get down and battle it out to bag the coveted trophy.
It promises to be full of drama interspersed with tears, and gossip.’
The opening ceremony will see the stunning small screen Jodha Akbar, Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma as they give a romantic performance that is sure to leave the viewers mesmerized. There will be eight teams.
Action Jackson stars Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhudeva made a grand appearance in between the performances and shook a leg to the popular song 'Keeda' from their movie – these two stars opened BCL with a friendly match between the girls and the boys.
It was just like any other game, even though great friends off the ground, all the actors meant business once they were on field.
When the boys won the toss, the girls were asked to bat first but, finally, the boys did not insist and allowed the girls to have their way and bowl first. And, in the end, the girls emerged victorious!
