Ghost closes Mysuru court hall for nine months

#ghost #mysuru #courtroom #astrologer A ghost has closed a court room in Mysuru – a court hall has remained shut for nine months due to the presence of a ghost as reported in timesofindia.indiatimes.com dated 20 February 2015. As indicated by sources, the hall has been branded as a "ghost room" after a judge who was holding court there lost his life in a road accident last year.
The district sessions judge's hall is located right above the closed hall.
The room was locked out in May 2014 and, before that date, it housed the First additional sessions judge, and many important judgments and sensational cases were read out of this hall. The hall is located at the entrance of the court premises and has, now, been reduced to a storeroom where broken furniture and chairs and tables are kept.
It is a bit strange that the court authorities have not opened the hall or posted a judge there, and, by their inaction, they have fueled rumors. Apparently, an astrologer has suggested that the court hall should remain locked until special pujas were performed so as to clean the place of evil influences.
This is happening in 21st century India where efforts are being made at the government level to rid the fear complex associated with the superstition.

Pakistan cricket player complains of ghosts in his hotel room in Christchurch

#HarisSohail #christchurch #ghost # CricketWorldCup 26-year-old Pakistani cricket player and an upcoming player has seen ghosts in his hotel room in Christchurch. He has, reportedly, been "traumatized" and unable to train after complaining of a supernatural presence at his Christchurch hotel room.
The Pakistan team is in New Zealand on a tour to play some warm-up matches ahead of the Cricket World Cup and have been staying at Rydges Latimer Christchurch. The city had been devastated in the earthquake and the hotel was built on the site.
On seeing the ghost, Haris Sohail "freaked out". He believed that a ghost had pushed him while he was asleep. He phoned the team management and by the time they came he had developed a high fever. As a result, the team bosses convinced hotel management to change his room. It seems he has not been able to practice and take part in warmup matches with the team.
The hotel had been built after the February 22, 2011 earthquake – the disaster claimed 115 lives when the multi-storey Canterbury Television building collapsed. That was situated just 100m away.
Incidentally, last year, Stuart Broad, the English cricket bowler, claimed to have experienced similar supernatural interactions and got his room changed at The Langham hotel in London after the authorities were convinced there were ghosts his room.
