When the show began in 2014, there were only about 70 horses but, the number has steadily increased and has nearly doubled. This time around, there would be about 150 pure-bred Marwari horses from all over the country and they would put on show their gait and traits.
The main objective of the show is to bring back the lost glory of this breed aboriginal to this land of warriors.

Thee will be various competitions in the show apart from equine dance and sport events like tent pegging, vaulting, obstacles ride.
In 2006, a stud book had been started for making a pedigree of the Marwari horse and establish the breed and this show was unique where only Marwari horses can participate. The book has close to 1,200 pure-bred Marwari horses registered and this show is the platform to present them from all over the country on a platform. Here the owners, breeders and farm owners get together to share their knowledge and understanding.
