The footfalls at this, the 11th military air show, are expected to be in the region of around two lakh business visitors as indicated by the Ministry of Defence.

There will be 72 aircraft participating. In 2015, there were 644 companies or exhibitors from 33 countries — 326 of them were foreign and 318 were Indian businesses.
Aerobatics will be a part of the show. There will be two Indian, one British and one Scandinavian aerobatic teams to keep the crowds enthralled. In addition, British Minister for Defence Procurement Harriett Baldwin will lead a 20-member U.K. business delegation who will focus on probable tie-ups with Indian companies in various fields like defence, aviation and security.
