New entrants to the Kamla Nehru zoo in Indore - a pair of iguanas

There are new entrants to the Kamla Nehru zoo in Indore - a pair of iguanas. The species has never been part of Indore zoo before and have been brought from Hyderabad zoo. Both of them are green in color, around 2.5 feet long and one and a half years old.
The zoo has plans to induct other colors as well - like the blue and red colored iguanas.
This has been reported in timesofindia.indiatimes.com dated 29 January 2017.
Iguanas are big lizards exotic species found in Brazil, Paraguay, Mexico and the Caribbean islands and are often as long as five feet.
The zoo has arranged separate arrangement to ensure that the reptiles get accustomed to the environment but, they do not require any artificial environment. The main aim would be to provide good food to the herbivorous reptile.
