This has been reported in nzherald.co.nz dated 11 June 2016.
The incident happened in 2012 and the coroner's report came in 2014. The mother has spoken out about this sad death in the Canadian newspaper Journal De Quebec. Her daughter had kissed her boyfriend after he had eaten a peanut butter sandwich, after a party. He was not aware of her severe allergies, but after he kissed her she began to experience shortness of breath.
She used her asthma inhaler, but it did not help. She then asked her boyfriend if he had just eaten peanuts and when he answered in the affirmative, she asked him to call an ambulance. Paramedics arrived within eight minutes but she suffered cardiopulmonary arrest in the ambulance. Doctors found that she had suffered severe cerebral anoxia - this is a form of hypoxia where the brain is completely deprived of oxygen. She passed away shortly after.
