At least 50 dead and 14 injured when bus plunges into a nullah near Pandav Falls in Panna, MP


#Chhatarpur #Panna #busaccident #MadhyaPradesh It was a tragic road accident when a private bus skidded off a bridge, fell into a nullah below and caught fire. The incident happened near the Pandav Falls in Panna, Madhya Pradesh, and at least 50 people are believed to have been killed and 13 injured in the accident.
The bus was going from Chhatarpur to Satna.

Rescue teams have recovered 15 charred bodies and 13 passengers who have suffered severe burns have been rushed to the district hospital as informed by an official from the accident site.
Preliminary investigations appears to indicate that the bus fell down about 16-feet and its fuel tank must have caught fire.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the accident and has also announced financial help of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the deceased apart from Rs 50,000 to those who have been seriously injured and Rs 25,000 to other injured victims.
