Welcome the world's first drone taxi that can carry four passengers

The world's first flying drone taxi, the EHang vehicle, has been unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It is held aloft by eight propellers and can travel autonomously - no pilot, no driver, the passenger can just climb in and relax.
This has been reported in news.sky.com dated 7 January 2016.
It is equipped with on-board systems so that it does not collide with other aircraft and buildings, and has an emergency system that allows it to temporarily hover in one spot mid-air in case of an emergency on the ground. EHang was founded in 2014 and has raised around $50m in venture funding so far.
Executives are of the opinion that this flying taxi drone could turn out to be the future of personal transport. It has the capacity to carry a single passenger for 23 minutes at a speed of 60mph, and features gull-wing doors and arms that fold up. It can be fully charged in two hours.
The passenger has to only key in the destination and the drone taxi does he rest!! This will remove any chances of human error at any point of time. It may take several years before the drone could be able to go into full production - provided, of course, that it is approved by air safety authorities.
