Mega cruise ship 'Explorer of the Seas' can accommodate 4000 passengers and 1000 crew

The mega cruise ship Explorer of the Seas is a monster of sorts with capacity to carry 4000 passengers and 1000 crew members. It is cruising up New Zealand and is expected to be in Auckland next weekend.
This has been reported in nzherald.co.nz dated 25 November 2015.
This mega cruise ship is Royal Caribbean's newest and largest megaliner that is based in this region and has been on her maiden visit during the past week - it has called at Milford Sound, Dunedin, Picton and Wellington, where it has now arrived.
Explorer is more than 137,000 tonnes and boasts of 15 decks. It had earlier this year completed a $122 million overhaul in Spain and has 10 pools and whirlpools, 15 bars and restaurants, a surf simulator and a rock climbing wall. The ship will head back to Sydney from Wellington but is due in Auckland on December 6 and will undertake a 13-day coast cruise from Auckland after its December 6 visit.
Explorer of the Seas is the sister ship of Voyager of the Seas which has been here for several seasons, Explorer is about 5cm longer.
