Hubbali youth cycles 4000-Km from Kashmir to Kanyamuri in 19 days

A youth from Hubbali cycled from Kashmir to Kanyakumuri and covered the 4000-Km journey in 19 days and his ride took him from the cold Himalayas to the humid coast and on to plain and potholed roads.
This has been reported in timesofindia.indiatimes.com dated 22 November 2015.
He began his journey from Srinagar in Kashmir on November 1 to mark Karnataka Rajyotsava and ended it November 20 at Kanyakumari. AS he has said - he had begun research work for the journey a year in advance and collected all the required information for the ride. He faced severe hurdles while passing through Samba district in Kashmir and his cycle got two tyre cuts due to a bad road full of stones. As a result, he had to walk for about 20-Km with my bicycle and luggage.
Between Srinagar and Delhi, his journey went on a wrong route and he had to take a longer routed which added another 70-Km to the ride.
His ride was sponsored by Aequis, Techstore, Hub balli Bicycle Club - the cost came to about Rs 3 lakh. He could qualify for some world record.
