Changi Airport in Singapore to have tallest indoor waterfall and accommodate 24-million passengers by 2018

In 2014, Changi Airport in Singapore had been named ‘World’s Best Airport’ by the World Airport awards and it is under renovation – by 2018, it has plans to cater to 24-million passengers.
As per information, the $1.1 billion addition, appropriately dubbed "Project Jewel," would be a ten-story glass structure – five stories would be below the ground and another five above. It would also have an indoor waterfall that would rise to over 130 feet high.
This waterfall would be the world’s tallest indoor rainfall and guests can enjoy an “enchanting Light and Sound show” at night.
Apart from these, there would be natural park space with thousands of plants and plenty of shops, and landscaped walking paths and restaurants. The Jewel pavilion will house a 130-room YOTEL for accessible overnight stays. While Changi Airport would be an exciting tourist destination for international travelers, it would be a playground near home where the local Singaporeans can relax and share many happy moments with their loved ones.
