Orca shows in San Diego SeaWorld to end

SeaWorld in San Diego will end its Orca shows because of not only Customer feedback but, also, due to mounting pressure over animal treatment. Moreover, poor attendance is another factor that has led to the decision to do away with the theatrical Orca shows in the San Diego park.
This has been reported in nzherald.co.nz dated 10 November 2015.
As indicated by its CEO Joel Manby to its investors, the park will offer alternate and a different kind of orca experience beginning from 2017. These will focus on the animal's natural setting and its behaviors. The new killer whale attraction will "have a strong conservation message" and this decision would be applicable, at present, to its San Diego park.
Incidentally, the Orlando, Florida-based company has seen its revenue plummet ever since the release of the documentary Blackfish that criticized its treatment of killer whales in captivity.
Criticism has come from celebrities like Harry Styles, Matt Damon and Jackass's Steve-O. Their concerns have helped to push the anti-SeaWorld message out.
