This has been reported in myfoxny.com dated 5 July 2015.
Nathan's was set up way back in 1916 by Polish immigrant Nathan Handwerker. It seems he had begun with a nickel hot dog stand on Coney Island with a $300 loan from two friends and his wife’s secret spice recipe. And, today, he has a flourishing business.
Nathan's is a huge brand with restaurants across the globe, products in every supermarket in America and millions of fans and, most importantly, the first Coney Island restaurant is still there today.
