Chinese fishing vessels in Diu – scouting for ‘Make in India’ launch?

Someone must have pressed the panic button because a fleet of ten Chinese fishing trawlers, believed to be headed for Iran, have taken shelter on the coast of Diu and Madhvad Bay, apparently because of rough seas ahead. This has been reported in zeenews.india.com dated 4 July 2015.
It seems the Indian authorities are worried and as revealed by the Defence Public Relations Officer, the vessels as well as the Marine Rescue Co-ordination Centre (China) have been asked to move out and undertake their passage to Iran at the earliest.
The position update and movement of the vessels are being monitored by Headquarters of the Coast Guard (North West) Region and instructions have been issued to monitor the position of the vessels on a continuous basis.
Actually, there should not be any panic and no one should search for ulterior motives in the Chinese actions even though Chinese submarines had been docked in Karachi for a whole week. Our Prime Minister has created a new bond with China who have agreed to not only help in the Bullet train project but have also shown in the ‘Make in India’ concept.
Who knows – the ten fishing trawlers in Diu could probably be scouting around for locations from where to launch their ‘Make in India’ projects.
