Tis has been reported in dailymail.co.uk dated 28 June 2015.
The three animals were called King, Cheeta and Felipa – out of them, King and Felipa, are dead and Cheeta is undergoing emergency treatment from the vets. They had been at the park for over 20 years. It seems King and Cheeta had been rescued in 1988 from a street photographer and Felipa had been saved from animal traffickers by the Service for the Protection of Nature.
The Fuerteventura Oasis Park had recently received a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence and its owners have termed the incident as ‘the saddest day in the history of the park since it opened its doors in 1985’.
